Black Smith/Enchanter/Wood working

I'm in a unique position where I'll be using a staff with heavy armor so the above three trades seems the most logical for me to level up for the best end game gear.

So for the record in game I'll try to provide the guild with the above services.

I've been observing trading threads to see what other people are planning and I think we should not plan to make trading a big part of guild activities. Other people are taking it WAY serious. Here's an example:

http://tamrielfoundry.com/topic/tamriel-trading-house/page/6/#post-296751

Basivally the guy says they will have three people coordinating which traits they will research on each item so they can get all traits covered in a week instead of 9 months.

Competing with folks who are willing to do stuff like this might be possible, but it will be a real hassle (will require dozens of players that are dedicated to working on just this one aspect of the game).

I'm not saying we shouldn't craft, or try to do what we can to get everyone properly equipped, just saying we should be careful about stretching ourselves too thin.

Yeah I'm not to concerned about the trading aspect with a full time job and a life I just cannot commit to EVE online like micro management of guild activities.

I'll happily provide my services free of charge to guild members especially if the resources are supplied. At the end of the day it is really only my time I'm providing and if you can't stop the grind for loot and pvp points to do some socializing I feel the essence of an mmorpg has been lost.

I too shall focus on woodworking, clothing, and enchanting primarily. Being a sorcerer, this would seem the most logical choice for me.

When you visit a blacksmithing station, go under the extraction tab. It requires 10 pieces of ore to make one ignot. Perhaps this URL will help;

I plan to work across Blacksmithing, Clothing and Woodworking. I also plan in dabbling in provisioning, mostly brewing though.

My main focus (research, and improvement consumables) will be in woodworking and clothing early on. I will collect everything I can get my claws on, and as those professions round out, I will fill out blacksmithing and enchanting as well. I love that anyone can natively collect any materials. Because of this, I will be stockpiling materials and eventually have at least a basic proficiency in all crafting skill lines.

I highly recommend everyone pickup Alchemy, even if you don't intend on making potions. The Medicinal Use passive (When using potions, resulting effects last 30% longer.) is just too good to pass up.

Especially with our Amphibious passive (Increases swimming speed by 50% and the effectiveness of potions by 15%.), and if you're a Nightblade the Catalyst passive (Increases potion effectiveness by 20%.) it's gonna incredibly powerful.

Ill be honest. As interested as I am in crafting in this game, I had completely overlooked the potion benefits. Being a nightblade, with the bonuses to potion effectiveness, as well as more effective crafted potions, alchemy looks really appealing now.

I'm planning to be a dedicated Alchemist, though I will likely dabble in other crafts.

I've actually been rethinking my crafting strategy. Right now, I plan on only putting three skillpoints into Alchemy at endgame for Medicinal Use on my main, and having crafter alts taking up 2-4 of my extra character slots (I think we get 8 total?).

This will not only save me skillpoints on my main (19) but allow me to get all the traits leveled up faster (trait research doubles every time you learn one per item).

After all of the Betas i have found i immensely enjoy smithing and will be focusing entirely on that profession. Even in the beta i was still able to get to the point where i was selling armor in the Argonian and Orsimer styles. (only because it was the only motif i found)
I will be looking for egg-brothers to trade with also. I will be looking to get my claws on iron and any racial motifs at all.
