From what I have seen as of late, we have hundred of unused items in the guild bank such as food, armor, potions, materials, ect. I think it would be best to utilize these and to sell of some to interested people or parties. I am not saying we get rid of all of them, of course many people still use the food and other goods, but if we sell off some it makes way for new goods to come in and opportunities to create new items and thus increase skills and opens way for gold to flow in, while getting rid of stuff we do not use.

Myself as a master crafter in many areas, I would like to have the opportunity to make money for the guild and myself, so that I can expand our connections.

TL;DR - Sell the stuff in the guild bank and create new stuff to stockpile or sell

I totally agree that something needs to be done about trade. As a start, everyone should fill up there 30 slots in the store, especially the people in veteran ranks. Remember you can sell practically anything.

Can someone report back here on the details of acquiring a guild trader? I assume the raiders in the major cities are too expensive, but perhaps we can find a way to get one of the isolated traders. Then we can sell the stuff from the bank, or sell our own stuff - whatever. I don't know how much it costs, or even what the process might be, though.

So there is no set cost. as far as i can tell you make your bid and it you bid enough you win. the major cities can cost upwards of 300k last i heard. I'm not sure about the out of the way traders but will try and find out.

If the cost is high but we are still interested then we may have to put on a fund raising event, such as a raffle or tournament.

I wouldn't mind dealing with Bank stuff so long as I know clearly what to remove and when to do so. For example, various weapons and armor; do we keep it, sell it, decon it and store the mats/tempers, decon it sell the mats/tempers, etc.

I would be fine, also, with taking stuff to sell in other Guild stores. Gold from sales would be stored in the Bank obviously (regardless of how it gets sold).

Also, now that fishing is useful, we could all store any bait we don't use and sell that as stacks accumulate.

Recipes I myself use as needed, replacing what I take out with either Gold or mats/other useful items. Same goes for Runes and Reagents. I could easily clear that stuff out and either replace it with other stuff, or sell it in other Guild stores (mostly in the case of recipes I already know that there are numerous copies of).
